Christina Lattner DNP Ed., APRN, AGNP-C, ANP-BC
Dr. Christina Lattner DNP Ed., APRN, AGNP-C, ANP-BC is on a mission to develop talent, foster skills, and facilitate academic proficiency. Dr. Lattner’s clinical nursing background spans 19 years in critical care, emergency medicine, advanced practice nursing, and 7 years as a professor in higher education. Dr. Lattner completed an Associate of Nursing Science from Henry Ford Community College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Michigan University, a master’s of science in nursing with a certificate in nursing education from Olivet Nazarene University, post- master’s certificate in Adult-Gerontology Advanced Practice Nursing from DePaul University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nursing Science from DePaul University.
Through her nursing background, research, and community outreach, Dr. Lattner’s focus is on the many issues ethnic minorities and underserved communities face that impact their health and professional development. She is passionate in seeking transformation of the nursing profession and future of healthcare by providing nursing education and increasing visual diversity among professional nurses. Dr. Lattner maintains her deep commitment to diversity and equity by advocating for career advancement and providing resources to African American communities and students. She is newly appointed to the steering committee of the ANA-Illinois Expert Panel on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
