Professional Issues Conference

ANA-Illinois knows that keeping up with the issues and an ever changing healthcare environment can be a challenge. The 2019 ANA- Illinois Professional Issues Conference is a one of a kind event that brings the membership together with the association leadership to discuss issues of importance to the profession. This is a unique opportunity to network with nursing colleagues from across the state of Illinois. Knowledge of the issues occurring in the nursing profession is just the start of finding a solution. Together we can continue to create the change to improve the quality of health care for all.

KEYNOTE SESSION: Nursing – The Future is Ours!

Donna Cardillo, RN

Nursing and healthcare stand at the precipice of radical change. As such, a unique opportunity presents itself for us to take on a larger and more pivotal role in healthcare beyond anything that most of us could have ever imagined. As this new role takes shape, nurses will need to change their way of seeing themselves, their profession, and their capabilities. It’s time to stop whining and start owning our power!

Presented by: Donna Cardillo, RN, The Inspiration Nurse
