ANA-Illinois is proud to present the program in the 2019 Webinar Series: Ethical Dilemmas in Nursing Practice.

The goal of this presentation is to explore three common scenarios that are analyzed using the four-box ethical decision-making model: a) patient advocacy-speaking up; b) disclosing medical conditions; and c) incompetence among peers. All nurses face moral dilemmas and complex ethical situations, and ethical decision-making is crucial to high quality patient-centered care. We will be analyzing common ethical dilemmas while highlighting ethical decision-making and ethical comportment which provides practice for nurses in a stress-free educational environment.
