On behalf of the ANA-Illinois Nominating Committee and Board of Directors, the Nominating Committee invites you to participate in the 2019 ANA-Illinois Board of Directors Call for Nominations. In the coming months, the Nominations Committee will seek your help in identifying and encouraging strong and emerging leaders to seek board service and to serve on the Nominations Committee. In 2019, the ANA-Illinois membership will select 6 colleagues for the following positions:
- Two (2) Directors
- Two (2) Nominations Committee members
Leaders and emerging leaders encouraged to consider running for a position.

Nominees must complete the online consent to serve by Wednesday, June 28, 2019
A candidate’s statement is required as part of the consent. We recommend you develop a strong statement prior to beginning the consent. The candidate’s statement must clearly identify the skills and experiences that qualify one for the position being sought. The statement should address how the candidate fulfills the characteristics and attributes of ideal ANA-Illinois board member and can fulfill the legal and fiduciary obligations of board members or meet the responsibilities required of members of the Nominating Committee. Committee members can review candidate statements to help you develop a strong statement.
We recommend that you write your statement in Word (or another app). Then copy and paste your statement into the appropriate field to prevent loss of information due to computer issues. There is a 2000 character limit.
THE CANDIDATE’S STATEMENT WILL BE USED ON THE BALLOT AND ALL NOTICES RELATED TO THE SLATE OF CANDIDATES.
The consent and resources regarding board service will be located on the homepage of the ANA-Illinois website at www.ana-illinois.org under NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS.
