Course Description

This course prepares Illinois clinicians to navigate the changing vaccine landscape with clarity and confidence. Participants will review current national and Illinois vaccine trends, examine the impact of Illinois House Bill 767 on vaccine policy and clinical practice, and explore factors contributing to declining vaccination rates. The course also addresses vaccine confidence, vaccine hesitancy, misinformation, and access barriers. Clinicians will gain practical communication strategies, including motivational interviewing and patient-centered approaches, to support informed vaccine decisions and improve vaccine uptake.
