Mutual Interest Groups
A Mutual Interest Group (MIG) is comprised of members who have common interests and needs who meet together for educational advancement, networking, and dissemination of information in their area of nursing interest.
Members wanting to form a MIG must complete an application that includes the following:
a. The purpose of the MIG.
b. How the MIG will support ANA-IL’s Goals.
c. Names and contact information of the MIG Steering Committee members (minimum of 3).
d. Names of ANA-IL members interested in belonging to the MIG (minimum of 5 additional individuals).
e. List of anticipated activities for the first year.
f. Agree to the following:

- Utilize ANA-Illinois established communication methods (website, social media, text messaging) for all primary communication.
- Co-brand with ANA-Illinois on all electronic and published products.
- Collaborate with ANA-Illinois on all MIG-sponsored or co-sponsored educational offerings.
- ANA-Illinois will facilitate all of the MIG’s politically related activities.
- Submit statements of public position or technical papers developed by the MIG to the ANA-Illinois Board of Directors for approval.
- Adhere to ANA-Illinois Bylaws and Policies.
