Step 2: Review Eligibility and Expectations
Read through the provided documents on board member characteristics, time commitments, fiduciary obligations, and conflict of interest policies to ensure you’re prepared.
Step 3: Complete the Candidate Questionnaire
Candidates must answer eight questions covering professional experience, leadership, and commitment to nursing. These responses will be published as part of the official ballot.
Step 4: Submit the Online Consent to Serve
Fill out the Consent to Serve form online by July 15, 2025.
Step 5: Participate in the Candidate Forum (Optional but Recommended)
Held on September 10, 2025, this Zoom-based forum gives candidates a chance to present their platform and engage with members.
Step 6: Campaign and Member Engagement

Step 7: Election and Results
Voting runs from September 17 – October 1, 2025, and results will be announced at the Professional Issues Conference on November 1, 2025.
