ANA-Illinois is now accepting nominations for the Annual Awards Program.
Each year, ANA-Illinois recognizes nurses and nursing students whose work strengthens the profession, improves patient care, advances innovation, and supports leadership across Illinois. The Annual Awards Program recognizes outstanding contributions and achievements of ANA-Illinois members through several award categories, including Clinical Practice, Student Nurse of the Year, Nurse Influencer, Innovation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership.
Award categories include:
Clinical Practice Award
Recognizes an exemplary nurse who demonstrates a high level of skill in patient care through improved clinical practice and patient-centered outcomes.
Student Nurse of the Year Award
Recognizes an outstanding pre-licensure nursing student in Illinois who demonstrates compassion, clinical promise, and academic achievement.
Nurse Influencer Award
Recognizes a nurse whose work has influenced nursing practice, care delivery, education, advocacy, policy, or professional practice.
Innovation Award
Recognizes a nurse who has completed an entrepreneurial intervention addressing an unmet need in nursing practice, education, or research.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Award
Supports the professional development of nurse leaders from historically and systematically marginalized communities in nursing.
Please take time to nominate a nurse, student nurse, or nurse leader whose work deserves recognition.
